Thanks for reading B-onfire Worldwork Journalism!
We are excited to announce our 4th round of Worldwork Journalism - beginning October 26th. You can find more info and a link to register below.
3 months / 3 topics / 3 sessions
WorldWork Journalism. Intimate. Co-creative. Public. Deep Democracy in action.
We are more than grateful to more than 50 pioneers (over the last year) who walked with us through the first rounds co-creating the first 10 articles! The next group is currently constellating. We are proud to have a beautiful diversity of participants from Thailand, Kenya, India, Australia, Finland, Slovenia, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, the US, Germany, and Lithuania (and I am sure I did not mention them all) on board.
There are still a few seats left. Interested?
Join us in exploring and experimenting with a new form of co-creative/ interactive writing called Worldwork Journalism. It combines the immediacy of the worldwork group process (dialogue facilitation) with the reflective space of writing, followed by an invitation to a wider audience to join in, here on substack.
This process's starting point is a two-hour virtual session with a globally spread group of 15 people. We will open a facilitated space for sorting the topic, and a group process, which then flows into individual writing prompts. These prompts will open the next level of a broader dialogue. They will be posted online where our group can continue unfolding the process.
Then we will invite others as readers and/or co-writers to add to the conversation. We will do this here on Substack, a ‘free-style journalist/everyday writers' platform. This online interactive space will be actively facilitated over 2 to 5 days.
When
26th of Oct - 9 am Berlin (CEST) / 10 am Nairobi, Vilnius, Kyiv, Moscow / 2 pm Bangkok / 6 pm Sydney
7th of Dec - 9 am Berlin (CET) / 10 am Vilnius, Kyiv, Moscow / 11 am Nairobi / 3 pm Bangkok / 7 pm Sydney
18th of Jan - 9 am Berlin (CET) / 10 am Vilnius, Kyiv, Moscow / 11 am Nairobi / 3 pm Bangkok / 7 pm Sydney
Please note that there will be a ‘lightsaving time change’ for some of us, so you might better check on your local time taking Berlin time as reference.
What you need to bring:
interest in worldwork (the world’s burning issues)
a curious mind,
love for experimentation,
commitment to join all 3 sessions.
We cannot wait to step into this next worldwork endeavor, meeting people worldwide and co-creating dialogue inside out. This participation in this group of Worldwork Journalists is at no cost; so, book now to reserve your place!
Apart from co-creating in this worldwork journalist group, we invite you to read and join the conversation here on Substack. We are grateful for every contribution as it enriches our conversations and supports this tender plant to grow.
About 🌏 Worldwork
Worldwork is an application of Processwork also known as process-oriented psychology. As a psychological and conflict-resolution approach developed by Arnold Mindell in the 1970s, it's based on the principles of Jungian psychology, Taoism, and systems theory, and it is used in various settings, including therapy, organizational development, community building, and conflict resolution. At its core, Worldwork aims to explore and understand both individual and collective processes in order to address conflicts, promote personal growth, and create more harmonious relationships within groups and communities. It focuses on bringing awareness to marginalized or ignored perspectives, as well as the deeper layers of consciousness within individuals and groups.
